  1. Averaging 3.8 books per month... (War & Peace prolly doesn't count though - been going at that one for almost 2 years.)

  2. The Anatomy of Peace was actually required reading for one of my sociology classes. I liked the book, but I can't really remember entirely how it related to the class. I think he applied it to some social theorist...

  3. I liked it... I can easily see it applying to sociology and even psychology, philosophy, MFHD classes I took and even religion classes at BYU. I essentially embodies most of Christ's teachings but makes them tangible for a non-Christian/non-religious audience, which was interesting. The biggest key element I took away from it involved treating other people as people - not as objects - and how interacting with people on that level (basically recognizing everyone - including yourself - as a child of God) and truly embracing that as a lifestyle can completely change your outlook on life and on the world as it works today. It's one of those books I will probably be reading (or at least skimming) every few years or so.

  4. The Lightning Thief seems to be possibly the only book we both read in the last year.

  5. It was a good one though! Well worth the read. I'm planning on getting the rest of them in the next few days so I can finish the series when book 5 is released on paperback. :0)
